Philadelphia Code indicates that the user (not the hauler) is required to obtain a special permit for temporary construction dumpsters that are placed in a public right-of-way.  For additional information, contact the Streets Department's Permit Unit at 215-686-5500.

Truck/Container Clearance Requirements:

Lugger containers (10cy) require Minimum 37'
Roll-off containers (20cy & 30cy) require Minimum 40'

Container Limitations:

For loads of concrete, brick, dirt, clean fill, & sand MUST USE 10 or 20cy containers.

Load containers level to top of container.

Materials above the top may fall off during removal or while traveling.

 

LEED Project Documentation: 2 LEED AP's on staff.

Material Recovery reports are available. Discuss project with customer service.

• propane tanks.
