LEED / Recycling Report

Burns Company has two LEED AP's on staff to assist with your LEED Project Material Recovery Recycling questions.

Our overall facility recovery rate is approximately 85-95%.

Burns Material Recycling Facility sorts, processes, and recovers discarded materials.

Materials can be commingled in one container or source separated on-site.

Loads received at the facility are viewed and documented for recyclable content.

Materials are sorted, recovered and processed into reusable products.

Material Recovery Information obtained includes:

• Contractor / Customer

• Project Name /Address

• Date

• Ticket Number

• Container / Truck Number

• Load Wieght

• Recycled Item weight(s)
  

A Waste Management Plan is readily available. The Plan includes:

• a narrative describing the Customer and Burns Company recycling process & objective

• recyclable materials list

• recycled materials & waste destination list

• recycled percentage goals

 

All Burns Company loads are recorded. Outside haulers must request documentation service. There is no charge for the recycled content documentation/report service.
